i started to walk down the steps yawning, i lived and worked in a book store as i went to the back room and started to print the new books that come through each day

This was not her morning. In the middle of a city she doesn't know, and almost obliterated by a demon. At least she had a hot chocolate now. It was still quite early in the morning, but Arabella wasn't even able to keep her eyes open. "Stupid demons trying to kill people in the stupid hours of the morning" Arabella bitterly muttered as she took a sip of her beverage. Time was running out. People were going to notice her disappearance soon, and she can't keep using the old "trip to grandma's". She somehow needed to find this supposed dragon. The thought of one existing still boggled her. But there was proof in the Book of Shadows, so they must be one. Or her old grandmother has been leading her on a wild goose chase from the afterlife.

Fun fact about beaches. They were like land people farms, with roosters. Except instead of a bird that laid eggs, beaches had seagulls. Birds that annoyingly liked to pick at Flynn's legs in the wee hours of the morning and squawk in his ears. "Okay, okay, I get it. I taste like fish, no need to remind me." Flynn's eyes slowly adjusted to the sun slowly illuminating off the beach hut he was sleeping next to. Was not a good idea to sleep next to a red hut. As the atlantean slowly sat up, he brushed the sand out of his already sandy coloured hair and began to collect his things. The fish shop should be open around about now, and he could go for a pieces of crumbed fish and a potato scallop around about now. The life that Flynn had now he was on land.

"There's no better way to start the day than a killing of a...whatever you were." Using his spare hand to wipe the blood dripping down his face, with his other he grabbed the corpse of the now dead body. Using his strength, Kol threw the body up onto a roof nearby. All done. One rotten robber no longer around and one happy and no longer hungry vampire demon. All is right in the world, for Kol that is.

Sydney Dame
As Sydney walked down the street, her keys dangling from her belt, she though to herself. As she neared her candy shop, she paused and looked down an ally. She thought she saw something but soon dismissed it. It did look like a demon, but it couldn't be. Demons don't usually come to this side of town. Though, she still was on the cautious side. She knew that nothing was ever the same. That the world hid wonders. She of course was a wonder herself, being fay.

Charlie Dutch
Another full moon gone, another month to relax, that is until the next one. Charlie sat down on a hillside and ran his hand over the soft grass. He knew that if he looked behind him, he would remember the night before. That was the bad thing of being a werewolf. Killing innocent people who met him in his wolf state. That was what he regretted the most.

she walked out from her printing press leaving it to work as she walked out and turned the closed sign around to be open, this has been a long time coming, and this was her dream job to, work at a book store and publisher. she had been working for a hole year to get all the books to sell and today was the grand opening of her little shop

Arabella was actually starting to feel less tired as she contuined to sip her drink. This was actually her time she had stopped and rested ever since she arrived two days ago. Let's just say the last 48 hours were not the best and leave it at that.
As her mind started to wander, she started to look around her surroundings more. The cafe she was sitting at was next to a semi busy road full of cars and people. People...what is that girl doing? Arabella slowly realised that she was being watched, or at least stared down by a particual brunette that stood out of the crowd. "What are you doing" she muttered, finally finishing off her drink. Arabella was about to leave to try and confront the girl but stopped, a tingling in the back of her neck stopping her. Hastley turning around, she swore to god that she saw something head into the alley way at the end of the street. A demon perharps. Maybe the midnight demon has brought a friend. Arabella headed out to investagate the scene, but not before leaving some money underneath the cup to pay for the drink. Must remeber to go back there tommrrow morning, if she was still in town.

Land people were very weird.Why did they always want green coloured paper? What importance does in hold in ones future? Flynn was still trying to understand them himself, but at least now he had some better clothes than the ones he stole when he first arrived. Carrying his small swag of a blanket, a bottle of water, money and a couple of possessions he managed to grab before being banished, Flynn headed out to the fish and chip shop for breakfeast. He realised that food on land was usually made by others, rather than hunting for it themselves. But he did have to admit, cooked fish covered in that sweet crumbed batter was so much better than the raw fish he used to eat. Maybe there was some upsides to being on land. After five minutes, Flynn was walking out of the fish and chip shop with his food, heading down to beach again to find a quiet little place to eat. He needed to figure out how he was going to try and get into the land people's "city".

Sydney Dame
As Sydney unlocked her sweet shop, she walked hastily in. She turned the sign from 'Sorry, we're closed,' to 'We are Open!'. Sydney then pulled the apron around her waist and tied it at the back. She then slid over her counter and sat in the chair pulling her reading material out while she waited for someone. Her mind went back to the alley. It was rare for demons to come near her shop, but it hadn't stopped them before. As Sydney looked out her window at the alley, she watched someone, or something, move closer to it.

Charlie Dutch
As much as he loved the country side, He knew he was going to have to move on to the city. Charlie sighed, turned around and gathered his few possessions and essentials, and started towards the city. He was hoping to find any trace of the thing he was hunting for. Okay it's not a thing, it's a who. And this 'who' is bloody hard to find, in Charlie's opinion.

she quietly walked back to her little desk as she bit her lip, she was a back ally shop so she didn't really expect many people to come but she had noticed that none of the figures came around her shop. she had heard story's of sightings all over the place in the city but never near her store. she heard story's of people looking for the so called last dragon, but she never believed in such a thing even the story's of lost city's were too far fetched. she thought of them as just crazy people and more and more of them were coming around this part of the world.

Arabella headed around to the alleyway, a couple of shops near the cafe she was in. The morning light only illuminated parts of the alley and the tin cans scattered around the area. She couldn't see anything further along the way unless she ventured down there herself. "Great, what could possibly happen?" she remarked sarcastically. Arabella began to process down the shady alley, noticing that the shop next to it, a bright pink store. Possibly some sort of boutique? She didn't look out the front to see the sign so she wasn't sure. But it did seem to appear open. Maybe if she ended up chickening out, she could orb into there. There was a visible window which she could see and help her visualise her surroundings if she needed to teleport. But enough about that.
"It's nine o'clock. Why is this still too dark to see in?" The more she walked, the darker it became. And she was only half way along the path! Arabella was soon getting worried about the darkness and so muttered a quick incantation. "Lux semitae meae." Soon a small light was coming from the palm of her hand. "Should be enough, right?" Arabella shone her light around the area. At the moment, the only thing she could see garbage. The smell was disgusting, but it didn't smell of death, yet. It wasn't long though until she saw a thick, red substance splashed across the ground. Blood.
A feral sounding growl came from behind...

Kol headed out into the city. He was actually starting to enjoy the place. Not as good as New Orleans, but still quite charming and busy. He liked busy. As many people rushed past them heading off to their meaningless and uneventful lives, the hybrid strolled down the streets, taking in the smell of fresh meat. Everywhere, he could smell particular blood types as he passed, usually muttering things like "B-, A+, O+, A-, oh AB+, make sure to come back for you later." Kol stopped as he came across a charming little book store. Reminded him of the libary in the French Quarter, except...smaller. "Grand opening...lets have a look."
