Sydney Dame
Sydney quietly opened her book and read. Her book was a part of the 'Vampire Academy' series as she was a sucker for books with vampires in them. Something was wrong. She could sense it. She looked out the window, expecting to see a demon about to spring in her shop, but saw nothing. Then her super natural ears picked up something. It sounded like a growl and Sydney moved closer to her door waiting.

she continued to look down at her book quietly reading, she wasn't a picky reader and she has nearly read every book in her shop though she tended to avoid the fantail ones with dragons in them since they always felt wrong to her. she didn't know why though, she then looked up seeing a person at the door but paid it no mind looking back down at her book not really expecting many people to come on

Arabella turned around to find a tiny little boy standing in the limited light produced. Nothing seemed particularly strange about him, but that wasn't until he lifted up his face. "Oh holy jesus!" Just as the demon boy was about to attack, Arabella flicked her hand across, making the demon fly meters away from the witch and into a pile of garbage. "Well that was surely going to make some noise. Great..." the brunette muttered, the demon boy regaining his balance as he tried to stand up once more. "Caeci dæmonium!" Using the light in her hand, Arabella chucked the orb towards the demon, the orb growing in size as it hit the boy between the eyes. "Bullseye!"

With a chip in his hand, and a map of the city resting in his lap, Flynn looked over the picture detailing the city. For the past 10 minutes, he had been studying what would be ahead on his journey. First of all he needed to catch a "bus". Flynn thought he had seen one of these "buses" before. And there were many tiny versions of them which traveled along the roads. He understood why land people would want these carriages. Walking was very tiring.

Kol stepped inside the bookstore. "Well this is something." All around of the sotre, there were banners all with GRAND OPENING written in bold writing, along with balloons and streamers hanging next to them. At the back of the store was a young girl around her early 20s reading a book at the counter. "Uh, good morning madam."

rose looked up again seeing that the man had walked in "a customer" she said smiling with glee as she put down her book and walked over to the man "good morning welcome to my little shop, is there anything i can help you find" she asked with a big smile on her face happy to have someone come in so early in the day

At the sound of the crash, Sydney was already out the door and running towards the alley, ready for anything that came at her. As she ran into the alley, she heard some words muttered and peered into the darkness at the light."Whose there?" She asked, her voice shaky. She hadn't had to kill a demon for over a year now, but did what she had to. Sydney raised a hand a small orb grew in her hand as she watched.

Charlie hoped onto a bus and sat, waiting. He just sat there and looked out the window at the ever growing countryside that surrounded him. That soon changed to the ever-growing city, and he just smiled. Oh how he missed being around the mundane.

No sooner had the demon fall once again did another figure grace the scene. Female, didn't exactly look dead looking so she probably wasn't a demon. And she seemed to have come out of the the pink building from the side of the alley. The building Arabella was going to orb into if all else fails. The now blind demon boy tried to up from the rubbish pile he landed in. But continued to fall over the bags that were in his way. "Get back, it's not safe here" Arabella yelled, preparing to vanquish the demon until she saw that the brunette figure was now holding an orb of light. Oh... that changed things now.

The next bus that passed the beach and went into the city was only a couple of minutes away. Flynn packed the rest of the belongings once again as he hurried to the bus stop. He was actually getting better at walking on land now, and had since learnt of running. It was the faster way of walking, but more tiring. The bus had pulled up just as Flynn arrived. The doors opened, surprising the atlantean briefly before he boarded. Handing the bus driver some money, he did not bother to get the rest of the change, finding a spare seat near the back of the bus. He was finally on. He was going to get into the city at last!

Kol returned the smile to the shop keeper. She seem young. Very young. Quite pretty as well. AB-, also a rare blood type. "I just happen to come across the little book shop. Grand opening. How exciting for you" Kol answered. Wonder what he could find in this little book.

"yes, im very its my first time doing anything like this.. but i love books so i hope i can help others love them too" she said smiling as she ran her hand over the book she was reading, each one on the shelf was one she loved to read

As the voice called out a warning, Sydney knew that the brunette figure was not a demon, judging by the demon lying beside her she was about to vanquish. “It’s okay, I’m not going to hurt you,” She said softly, dimming her orb, but still had it out just in case of an attack. Sydney didn't trust this new person, and Sydney wanted to make sure Sydney was still safe. Sydney started to walk towards the figure, very slowly so that she didn't cause the person to panic. Up closer, Sydney could see that this female didn't look dead, very much alive in that fact, so she wasn't a demon.
Charlie Duch
As a new guy passed Charlie on the bus, he could smell an salty scent, reminding him of the sea. He defiantly wasn’t human. Charlie turned in his seat to see the golden blonde hair boy walking away. Charlie couldn’t place it. What was different about this guy than there was anyone else? Charlie became puzzled and annoyed. He hated it when he couldn't figure something out.
