The Jadix Club! Chapter 1 up!

Introduction
“Oh, hello there. I didn’t expect to have a visitor today. Come in, come in.”
You enter the woman’s house, which is decorated with simplistic but charming furniture. Photos hang from the wall, many showing young children, perhaps the women’s children or grandchildren.
“Come now, sit down. I will get some tea ready. “
The woman leaves the room. You sit for a moment, looking around. A certain photo on the table catches your eye. You pick it up, being careful not to drop it. It seems to be a picture of the woman when she was younger, perhaps sixteen years old. She smiles with four other girls about the same age. They seem to be close friends. As you examine the picture, the woman reenters the room. You hastily put the picture back, embarrassed for being caught messing with the woman’s things. But she doesn’t appear to be upset.
“It seems you’ve found my favorite picture. That was me with some of my closest friends when I was younger.” The woman chuckled. “It’s been many years since then, hasn’t it?”
You listen to her speak of her long-ago friends. She still seems to be quite fond of them. You study the picture as she points to each one, giving their name; a cheery girl with short, wavy blonde hair named Novia, a tanned girl with coal black hair named Regina, a sheepish girl with the name of Nellie had carrot hair and a face splashed with freckles, and a blonde girl named Julia who seemed to think the whole affair was ridiculous, but smiled anyway. You wonder what kind of people they were, and before you can stop yourself, a question slips out.
“Why was I friends with them?” The woman leans back, thinking. “Actually, I detested them a little at first. We were all very different people shoved together in the same dorm. You couldn’t have expected us to get along.” The woman smiled faintly. “But somehow, adventure and mysterious events brought us together, as all people are when faced with greater danger. And we somehow bonded over the dangers we faced. For some reason, that made our friendship stronger than it could have been in any other circumstances.” The woman gazes fondly at the picture. “Oh, how innocent and sweetly oblivious we were then.”
The two of you gaze at the photo for a moment, each with your own thoughts. Then, with a happy sigh, the woman places the photo back in its home.
“Well, I don’t think you came to listen to my silly stories of my teen years. Now, what have you came to my humble home for?” You explain that you have been assigned a project of interviewing a neighbor about a heroic act they once committed. You ask her if she had ever done a heroic act.
“Well……” the woman laughs. “I may have once. But it seems that I will be telling you tales of my teenhood after all, if you really want to know.” You nod to indicate you want to listen. To be honest, you had wanted to hear the story from the start, but you only had time for the interview. Now, though, you had an excuse.
“Well…… where to start…..” The woman thinks for a moment, then begins to tell you the story of her first time at a school for fairies you may know…….
Hey there! Jo here! You may be a litttle familiar with this story if you read it in the old forum. owever, the last one sucked, so I'm..... wait for it......

Hehee, thank you!
I don't think we knew each other when I started it. I think that all the people reading my stories didn't get online anymore, so nobody was reading my updates, and I dropped it. But I've improved my writing skills, so hopefully this'll be mucho better!

Nah, you don't have to thank me.
Yah, and I was mainly in the Club Area, Fun Area and Enchanted Art Gallery sections I only discovered Flora's Tales and my love for writing quite recently.
Aww, that's so sad. I mean to write stories that no one reads. My first story was sortev like that too. I some how finished it though Though there were minimal comments and continuous story writing, somehow I thought it was natural.

It was a sunny day at Alfea. The sky was blue, a soft breeze blew, and sunshine warmed everyone’s skin.
But today’s weather wasn’t as greatly appreciated as it might have been. Today, there was something else occupying everyone’s minds; the arrival of the students at Alfea.
Fairies from every planet and realm gathered at this very special school of magic. Alfea was known as the best magic school for fairies in all of Magix, but recently it had also become well known for teaching a well-known group of fairies; the Winx Club. Now, Alfea seemed to be teaching more students than ever before. Because of this, the arrival of students seemed to be more important than ever before.
Now, the first of the students had finally arrived. Some of the first-years looked nervous(but who wouldn’t, going to a famous magic school for the first time?), others looked exited, and yet still more seemed to be bored. But all walked through the giant wing-like doors into the courtyard.
One fairy seemed to hesitate. She was age sixteen, the minimal age for entering Alfea. The girl didn’t stand out, looking ordinary enough; she had mousy brown hiar that reached the middle of her black, chestnut eyes, and pale skin. She wore a simple grey shirt with striped sleeves, jeans, and black sneakers. She only carried one bag, which was plain enough. Although it was stuffed full of clothes, the zipper could still be zipped, and some of the other students had bags about to fall apart. Overall, this girl seemed quite ordinary.
And yet she hesitated. She looked up at the gates, so carefully built, and her eyes traveled to the buildings of the campus. She observed the powder pink walls, blue roofs, and the elaborate design of the towers. One at a distance might think she was hesitating because she was nervous, but the girl only paused to take note of the building’s detail. Once this was observed, she resumed her walking, and walked towards the tall wing gates.
The girl joined the line that led to a middle-aged woman wearing navy blue. The woman barked at the students for their name, planet, and such. The girl stood silently in the few minutes that it took for her to reach the front of the line. She only spoke when the woman, whom one of the students had whispered to another was the Head of Discipline, addressed her.
“Name and planet?” the woman barked.
“Jessica Damon of Solaria,” the girl said, unintimidated.
The woman squinted through her glasses as she scanned the list of registered students. Jessica paid no attention to the whispers of the students behind her.
“Gee, that Grizelda sure is scary,” one whispered.
“Yea. How is that girl acting so normal? She doesn’t even look bothered.”
“What’s with that girl?”
Grixelda looked up from the list. “I can hear you,” she said, glaring at the girls.
“Eeeeek!” The girl shrieked, jumping backwards
Grizelda turned her attention back t Jessica. “You’re free to go.” she said gruffly.
Jessica only nodded, shouldering her bag and continuing into the courtyard.
Jessica joined the mass of students standing in the middle of the courtyard. The young fairies chattered excitedly to each other, each in their own group of friends. She, however, did not speak, and stood alone. No one came to talk to her, and she did not walk away to talk with someone. She only stood quietly and waited.
Soon enough, all of the students were inside the courtyard. The gates swung shut as the girls chattered. Jessica was the only one to notice, being the only one alone.
“ATTENTION!” a grouchy voice called. The chatter of the fairies died down, as they turned their attention to Grizelda. The Head of Discipline began listing the rules, which didn’t seem too unordinary.
Two fairies were ignoring Grizelda as she talked, whispering to each other and giggling. One of them had long blonde hair pulled into a ponytail, and wore a rather inappropriate outfit, which barely covered the minimum amount of skin required in the school dress code. The shirt was clearly designed to display her chest, but she wore so many necklaces that her chest was covered up. The miniskirt was tight, showing off her rear end, and her heels were so tall that she might as well be standing on tiptoe.
The other girl, though prettier, didn’t show off as much of her dark Arabian skin. She wore a cherry red blouse and skinny jeans, which although were tight, didn’t try to show off her bottom as much as the other girl’s mini. Her sandals had a high platform, but her feet lay flat, unlike her blonde friend. Her arms were decorated with gold bangles, and around her neck was a golden necklace embedded with who knew how many jewels. She even had a jeweled headband, which pushed back her raven hair.
The two girls continued to chatter with each other quietly. One giggled too loudly.
Grizelda whipped around. “Girls! Do I need to puit you on cleaning duty so early in the year?” she scolded.
“No!” the girls squeaked. “We’ll stop, we promise!”
“Then listen when others are speaking!” Grizelda barked. Then she continued to list all of the rules and their punishments.
“Ugh, that woman is such a jerk,” the blonde whispered to her friend. The raven-haired girl nodded in agreement.
Some people just never learn, Jessica thought to herself, mentally sighing. She turned her attention back to Grizelda just as the Headmistress walked up.
“That will be enough, Grizelda,” The elderly woman said as she joined Grizelda.
“But-” Grizelda sighed. “Alright.”
“Thank you,” the Headmistress said. She smiled kindly at the students. “Welcome, young faries, to Alfea!”
“This year will be an exiting adventure as you learn how to use your powers and transform,” the Headmistress said. “Some of you will be turning into a fairy for the first time, others will be earning their Enchantix……” the Headmistress continued in her welcome speech.
Jessica listened to the Headmistress’s words, but her mind was somewhere else. There was something missing when she left Solaria-something hadn’t been quite right. Something had been off, but she couldn’t quite put her finger on it. It pushed and poked her from the back of her mind, and she couldn’t figure out just where in the back of her mind it was. It was starting to irritate her.
“When you go inside, you may go and find your dorms and unpack. Lessons do not start until tomorrow. And one more thing-” the Headmistress paused and smiled. “Welcome to Alfea!”
A deafening drone of chatter immediately started up. Students picked up their bags and started towards the building. Jessica swung her bag over her shoulder and started walking.
A “fun and magical year”, huh? Jessica thought to herself. I wouldn’t say that, but……
Jessica looked up at the tall pink building before her.
It just may not be too bad after all.
