The girl who chased love ♥ ♥ Chapter 1 up

((To note,this is almost close to my life. Just changing the names,personal details,plots and the amount of 'interesting'. It's a diary format, so please,read on!!   Just to clarify, I am NOT half Russian    I'm not putting effort into this if people won't read it. So you'll find that if nowone replies, it aint getting continued. The summary is basically the story.))

Dear Diary,

Yes, it's a boring diary. I'm writing in blue because my stupid brother stole my LAST PEN! Stupid guy.

The things you should know about me, is that i'm 15 years old, an British girl named Eleanor who can never seem to find love. Usually, I wouldn't bother, but today it's got me really sad. Like,REALLY. It all started in school. Oh, I also want to mention, I'm kind of a geek. I like anime, manga, cosplays, and staying in while your friends hang out.

Anyway, onto what happened at school. Gosh, I blabber on about things. Is it a British thing? ANYWAY, i'm pretty sure this little diary knows who my best friend is. Her name is Charlotte. She sounds normal,right? WRONG. She's also crazy about anime. She was the one to agree with me to do Gangnam style in the H&M elevator in the centre of our town. Our town is a growing town, built to try and mimic foreign countries. We're very multicultural, and a very friendly community. Rarely there will be crimes nor incidents, and the newspaper made for our town and our town only has hardly any crime reports. I wasn't even born here, which makes me sad, but I consider it my hometown since I moved here at a young age. I'm not even full British. I'm half Russian,thanks to my father. He's from Northern Russia, and has bright blonde hair and bright blue eyes with quite pale skin. Atleast, he used to. Now, he's more of faded and tanned due to the warmer climate. In old photos, he looked weird. My mum,on the other hand, is British, with light brown hair and greeny-brown eyes.Then comes me. I got medium brown hair for some wacky reason,and brown eyes. I don't even understand how the HELL this even happened. I'm also quite stocky, which is a downside, since I want to be feminine.

Did I really just write a whole page of my personal life? Okay, onto Charlotte. She has a boyfriend now, named Jack.He's average to me, not butt-ugly but not angels-singing-as-he-walks-in beautiful. She was talking about me that their month anniversary is in a week. She only decides to tell me NOW, because i'm 'terrible' at keeping secrets. She doesn't know what to get for him,so I suggest that because it's spring, draw him a flower or something. I'm terrible at ideas.

Nevertheless,Charlotte thanked me, and asked me the fateful question.

How can you give such helpful information, when you've never had a boyfriend?

It honestly surprised me. I really don't know why, really. I'm regarded as pretty, fairly weird at points, but down to earth. Why don't I have a boyfriend, I ask myself.

In the space of time I was thinking, Charlotte had sighed and moved on to go on her phone.

"Well,I've never had a boyfriend,bu-"I replied,before being cut off by Charlotte's surprised face. She stuttered.

"Y-you've never had one? You must be lying!"She gaped, grabbing me by the shoulders, as I brushed her hands off,being very personal-space conscious.

I nodded hesitantly, as Charlotte continued to stare at me. Quickly, news spread around to my other best friends about my misfortune. Yes, I've had crushes. Yes, my friends asked people out because I'm too shy too. All of them rejected, or I never asked them out for the risk of being rejected.

I just really hope tomorrow the other girls in my school don't find out. Oh, I have enemies. However nice I may seem, some people just DON'T LIKE THAT. 'Their' (Yes,more than one. I put quotations,because their insults seem inhumane. I should compare them to that of a farm animal's, but that would be too rude, and I'm better than that.)
The main one you need to know about is Catherine. She has light brown hair, and piercing blue eyes. She's fairly slim, and rather tall. Oh, did I mention she can't seem to turn down guys to ask her out. If you're deemed unpopular, she won't like you,even if you're nice. She doesn't seem to like anyone who's deemed unpopular. She gloats about her belly-piercing 24/7 to attract more attention from the dumbstruck zombie followers she has. Who I also happen to despise.

Most of my day went good, but I got home and logged onto the internet to chat with friends. (This means, group chat with best friends!) It didn't look like my best friends had told anyone, since I asked them. I started watching a Japanese drama, which is really good! The guy in it is really cute, but he's Japanese. Why is it side-written when in Japanese,you may ask?

My parents seem to say that they'll love me no matter what race my future husband is, but they seem to have problem with east asian guys. When I announced I was into anime, they assumed I liked them and said how I'll never get one because 'they refuse to date girls like me'. Ugh, I really want to show them, but there's no way! Not to say, I don't like other guys.

It sometimes depresses me. I'll be listening to my favorite singers, who are all from east Asian descent. Or watching my favourite actors from there. Knowing what my parents have told me, I'll probably never marry someone who I generally find cute. They say love is about personality,but it isn't. It's hardwired into our brains as humans to find someone we find cute. Nature doesn't seem to care what their personality is like. Nature is horrible, in some way. I tend to think into the future when I think about love. Maybe that's what's wrong with me. Maybe it's because i'm too geeky, or too shy. Maybe it's because I'm unpopular. Maybe i'm undateable.

Ugh, stop it Eleanor! I will literally grab a leek from the kitchen and hit myself over the head with it if I keep on thinking like this. Think positive,think positive! It's time to stop writing, as it's getting quite late and my hand aches so bad.

(PS - If the third chapter is written, I will post what the character's look like, they'll be in real. No,they're not photos of real life me. They'll be taken from top-medium searches of Google. They may even be famous people from shows. Who knows.)

I thought I didn't type this, as my mum turned off the internet JUST AS I WAS ABOUT TO POST THIS AND -*sits in corner crying* I thought I hadn't posted it. I didn't post this yesterday as well, I can recall it being Wednesday this happening o-o

Anyway, the second chapter will be up Monday, since tomorrow is when the family come over.
