Me

I look on through the mirror, and what I can see
is what I would call me.
I look on through her eyes, and what I see
is what I call pretty.
I look on through
and see you, to say, I'll find my way.

Inside me

The broken pieces from inside of me
help me understand what I see.
Inside me I'm growing much stronger, living for so much longer.
The broken glass from deep within my heart, has helped me through from the start.

friendship
Friendship is something that you
should always look forward to.
A friendship is a story
where you say
you had the best day.
When there's happiness,
you look around
and know what it's about
inside and out.
You sit down,
and decide to stay
in this beautiful day.
A day of happiness, hope and care,
a day when friends are everywhere.

Is it meaningful
or meaningless?
Will I fight
or turn my back on this?
Is it blackness
or is it bright?
Is it dark
or is there light?
Is life luck
or a very long curse?
Are things getting better
or are days getting worse?
Is it wet
or is it dry?
Do you laugh
or do you cry?
Is it hate
or is it love?
Is it under
or is it above?
Is it hungry
or full?
Is it lame
or is it cool?
Is it blurry
or clear?
Is there something
or nothing here?
Does it matter or not
if there's a little or a lot?
Does it glare or stare?
Does it turn
or even care?

If
If the world were round
but also flat,
you would fall off the curve of that.
If ice were hot and cold
it would be warm.
If there were water and heat
then would come a storm.
If things were different and had noise
you would have girls and boys.
If you were sad
but angry too,
you wouldn't know
which one was you.
If you could fly
but fall as well,
you'd know someone had cast a spell.
Pick either which way,
are you to leave or come today?
If I'd fallen
but lived to tell,
you'd know I'd fallen in a well.

From Appearance
From my head to my nose.
From my feet to my toes.
From my grin to my glare.
From my frown to my stare.
From pain in my thighs
to my nails to my eyes.
From the skin on my face
to my moves and my grace.
From my bones to my skin.
To my hair that is thin.

This one hurts
while this one likes.
This one runs
and this one hikes.
This one is truthful.
This one will lie.
This one will laugh
while this one will cry.
This one is mad.
This one hurts and feels sad.
This one is scared.
This one is brave
but never ever could behave.
This one is dangerous.
This one will care.
This one will look away.
This one will care.
This one is nice.
This one is mean.
This one is clueless.
This one is keen.

No! Wait! I mean, rice!
I wish I could have a hug.
No! Wait! I mean, look at that bug!
That thing's a rat.
No! Wait! I mean, cat!
I think you look like a cat.
No! Wait! I mean, I forgot my hat!
You're so dumb and lame.
No! Wait! I mean, you have fame!
That's such ugly hair.
No! Wait! I mean, sit in this chair!
I hate this food just like before.
