A few days later Sky was having another lesson with Damon, and she was startng to get more used to the new vampire life.


During that time Dick had been thinking over and over baout his and Carters "position" and had decided to go talk to Wally about it.

Damon held up a vile of something. "Vervain. Vampire's poison. Don't let it touch your skin or you'll feel like you got 3rd degree sunburn."


Wally threw a plastic bottle at Dick's head. "That's one thing you'll have to deal with if you go through with having a baby. Babies love to throw stuff."

"Ad that would be, not so nice.. got it," Sky said.


"Augh!.. Hey, dude, cut that out. I'm serious,.. If Carter wants to keep the baby I have to be there for her, ya know?" Dick said.

"But handy to keep around in case of enemies," Damon said, tossing the vile to her.


"Yeah, but you know she wants you to also want to keep the baby, too," Wally stated.

Sky caught it. "You're saying I should use it against others?" She asked him.


"Yeah, I know that," Dick said, running a hand threw his hair.

"Pretty much, yep," Damon replied.


"Do you? Honestly?" Wally asked.

Sky frowned. "I don't want to hurt anyone, even a vampire," She stated.


Dick sighed and looked up at his best friend. "Of course I would want to,.. I'm just not sure if I,.. if we can. You know? We're still kids, or.. young ourselfs and I don't know anything about responsibility like that.." He said.
