"I'm sure Joel would talk to you if you were." Alex said, hoping to comfort Katherine, even a bit.

(I'm mad at my mom. She promised to buy two movies for me today. She hasn't moved from her chair! And the weather is awful.)

(You can always get it when the weather is better)

Katherine nodded, still sad that she wasn't much help.

(But I want them today. Not to mention rainy days are great days to watch movies.)

"His father may not like you but that doesn't mean it will cause any problems in your marriage. You and Joel are meant to be together. I know Joel would never agree with his father." Alex said.

" Your right," Katherine said.

"Trust me. You guys will be just fine. But I bet Joel is worried about you." Alex said.

Joel was so worried he couldn't even focus on his work. Just Katherine. He really hoped she was okay.

"If I leave Joel,maybe his father would stop arguing with him," Katherine said.

"If you leave Joel you may risk breaking his heart. But I'd hate to see you upset." Alex said.

" I know but if I don't, Joel will lose his father because of me.." Katherine stated.

Charlie went to Joel's office to talk to him.
