A change Of heart
"Whoooooaaaaaaa!!"
The sounds of Starlash guild leader Ella Ezmaralda sliding through the floors of the inn could be heard all throughout Armoroad, until she hit the wall, that is.
"Oh dear!" She mumbled, holding her head up as blood began to spill from her nose. "Drennn!"
Now, walk down her brother, Dren Ezmaralda, the Starlash guild medic. He has a tissue in his hand, already knowing the situation. The pint sized medic handed his sister the tissue bitterly as she put it up to nose, catching the blood.
"Geez, don't be so reckless. Remember that I'm the only medic between 3 guilds!" Dren huffed.
"Well, were explorers! We get hurt!" Dindae said. "Now stop ya complaining so I can eat my breakfast in peace."
"I don't know...." Irenea, the Zodiac of the allying Dark Moon guild, piped up "You all seem to be overwhelming him, I'd be like that if I had to take care of 3 guilds worth of people...."
"Well, that's what he signed up for when he became the medic." Trixie of New Dawn said, twirling her fork in the air.
"I don't find it fair, though!" Irenea huffed, not really seeing why the others saw what was plain as day.
Finally someone who gets it... Dren thought, wishing to speak up but remained silent.
Icis, the Imperial leader od Dark Moon, stood up. "If everyone is finished with breakfast and Ella's nose has finished bleeding, we can head out for the labyrinth" she said. She was meet with a thumbs up from Ella and murmurs of agreement from the others.

"Thanks for standing up for me back at the inn..." Dren said, thanking Irenea as the three guilds packed up there respective Skyships to head for the labyrinth.
Irenea smiled "It's nothing, really. I was just saying things as I saw them" she said, putting a box on her Skyship. "Oh, and your guild is calling you"
"Huh, wha-" Dren begun, before hearing the voice of Dindae ring through his ears.
"GET ON DA RIGHT SKYSHIP, YA DOOFUS!!" The fiery Landskecht shouted, even though the skyships weren't that far away. Dren sulked over to the Skystar and sat in a rather bitter position as they took off.
Its nothing... Dren repeated what Irenea had told him over and over again. It wasn't nothing, as it hadn't been the first time she had done something nice to him. Just last week she had helped him carry the medicines back to the inn, and a few days before that she had hand picked some herbs for him to use.
"Something on your mind, Dren?" Dren's thoughts were interrupted by Hermonie.
"Oh, uh, nothing..." Dren said, his face bursting into blush.
"It doesn't seem like that....." Hermonie pointed out. "Your blush signals that your thinking about someone."
"You could say that..." Dren muttered.
"Is it Irenea? She's been doing a lot of things for you recently" Hermonie asked, looking rather interested in what Dren had to say.
"Yeah, I was thinking about what I could do for her." Dren admitted.
"Well, try changing yourself. It must be hard for Irenea to stand up for the prickly one." Hermonie offered.
"Oh...uh...okay...." Dren said, not exactly knowing what the Vessel meant.

As the group came back from the labyrinth, they were in rather bafflement.
"What's with Dren?" Icis whispered to Chase. "He treated all of us without a word of complaint"
"Wish I knew...." Chase replied. "It's unnerving..."
Whilw this confused chatter continued, Dren snuck off to the market, browsing for a tomb.
When he did find a suitable one, he checked the price tag and gawked, 3000 ental for one book!? he could hear the money fleeing from his wallet. He picked up the book and handed it to the cashier. "I'll have this, please...." he said, his hands shaky from its weight.
The cashier graciously took it. "3000 en, please." She asked.
Dren pulled out the nesscary funds and handed it over. They exchaned currency for good, and Dren huffed off.
How can Irenea carry these things! ? Dren thought as he struggled carrying the tomb. Just his luck, however, that he bumped into Irenea as he was making his way back to the inn.
"Dren, why are you here? Everyone has been looking for you!" She said, conxern apparent in her eyes.
Dren held up the tomb "I was getting you this...." he explained.
"Oh.....you didn't Need to-" Irenea begun, before being cut off by Dren.
"Yes I did, you've been so kind to me, and I had to pay you back somehow.....also.....I kind of....like you..." Dren finally admitted, confessing the feelings he had bottled in for a while now.
"Dren.....! I, feel the same way...." Irenea muttered, much to Dren's suprise, as he thought the plan would backfire.
"Really?" Dren asked, rather shocked.
"Of course, I was being nice to you, hoping you'd get the hint..." Irenea explained, blushing a little.
Dren blushed as well. "Well, I guess I did...." he said, laughing nervously.
Breaking the moment as Landskechts tend to do, Dindae marched into the market. "Irenea! Ya found Dren!" She chirped.
Caught rather off guard, Irenea whispered into Dren's ear. "Let's keep this a secret, okay?"
Dren nodded. "Alright" he whispered back.
Just a secret, for now
