A petty virus, just a normal game that was sweeping the internet, another craze of the public. Not really anything that would tell you that something was going to change. Or in fact...
That the World's days were number and heading toward zero.
Though this game, known as Nicaea or more popularly dubbed as "Dead Face", has risen to popularity in a brisk pace. Mostly because of a virus that hacks into your email and forwards the game to those in your contacts. No one can tell were this game had got started, though one thing is for sure. The game has already broke one million users and counting.
You, all of you, from one reason or another have the app either through peer pressure our your own curiosity. Some may have got it for the hilarious poses that some of the "Dead Face Victees" tend to be in, some may have got it just so their friends would stop pestering them, while others maybe got it because of a virus infected email. The reasons are plentiful. Though who would know what would happen next...?

You have gone on through live, day in and day out. Downloading new apps, deleting old apps. Trading up to the newest phone and often surfing the web on your laptop or tablet. Though one this is apparent, paper books and paper text books have been come nonexistent. Leaving technology to take over the market.
Though that's also how you problem has come around.
About three days after you, either willingly or forcibly, downloaded, installed, and signed up for the Niceae app did this all happen. You where heading home from school, taking the subway home as usual. Though your phone suddenly sounds with a Dead Face notification along with your friends. You look at it to see you friend pinned under a subway train car, dead. While your friend's shows the exact same but with you spiraled on the ground, dead. You suddenly get the sickness in your stomach to leave as the train comes into the station, derails and causes massive damage to the station.
As you lay there dying you phone lights up with a message from Nieaca.
Do you want to live? Y / N
Finding the question as relatively stupid you hit the Y key. As your phone goes off once again downloading something to it as you pass out.
If it was a joke or not, we will have to see.
Though that's also how you problem has come around.

The Nieaca Devil Summoners
These are those students that received Nieaca, which turned into the Nieaca Devil Summoner app, and technically "died" in the Subway Train Accident that afternoon on September the 18th. Devil Selection
Quick Note, Only Nieaca Devil Summoner App supports the use and control of powerful Devils (Five, Six, and Seven stars). While the Normal Devil Summoner App only supports the use and control of lesser Devils (One, Two, Three, and Four stars). Please keep that in mind when selecting your Devil Teams
Also Devils are separated into three categories beside their rank. Celestial, Underworld, and Otherworldly. These three are easy to tell on the devil information page. Celestial is blue, Underworld is Red, and Otherworldly is Purple. That is how you can find out what "race" a devil is.
Also race of tamed devils tend to reflect on the summoner as well. There are Celestial Summoners, that have a devil team of all or mostly Celestial Devils. There are Underworld Summoners that have mostly or all Underworld Devils on their team. While Otherworldly Summoners have mostly or all Otherwordly Devils on their team. While some summoners can be half of one race and half of another race. Or if manage can some a small number from all races. Though most summoners are often called by what they have majority of the race they have on their team. So even if a summoner has three Underworld Devils, two Otherworld Devils, and a Celestial Devil. They will be called a Underworld Summoner.

Even Devils and the Black Arts have their own rules as well. So listen well, and you won't become their prey.
Rule 0
Follow all Forum Rules
Rule 1
Genders are going to be even. So one Male and one Female character from everyone. Meaning there is a two character minimum. Though Four or Six characters will be the maximum. Also note one person can only have two characters in the Nieaca Devil Summoner's group. Any other characters must go to the JPA Summoner group if you wish them to be Summoners as well.
Rule 2
Now to the Devils. This on is going to be a big one. No JPA Summoner should have a Seven Star Devil. Because their app do NOT support that strong of Devil. So please don't try to slide it past me, as I do read the forums throughly.
Next on the list. Team Sizes. There are only Six Devils on a single team, and no we are not doing any Pokemon banking systems. So choose Six and only six. Though that also brings up the problem of some people going an all Seven Star Team. If you do that I am NOT accepting your form. Because that will be getting on the line of Mary Stu ism. So I'll put down a base line of ideal team while I will let go by.
1 Seven Star, 1 Six Star, 2 Five Stars (one can evolve to Six later on) and 2 of any rank lower.
Also you do not need to fill up all Six team spots, though it would be ideal to.
ALSO. Once a devil is taken for a team, unless it is a one star or two star and a rare three star, then that devil is taken. Meaning no one else can have that devil. So no repeating Devils.
Rule 3
Since this came up on the last one. No Mary Stus / Gary Stues. Their boring, unoriginal, and fun-killers in an RP.
Rule 4
No Godmoding. Another fun-killer in RPs. This won't have Person versus Person combat, but you will have aliens trying to kill you. So you can really dodge a laser traveling at the speed of light, and it is hard to avoid a large explosion. So keep in on the side of realist for these kind of things.
Rule 5
Any Sexuality is allowed. Though no Homophobia.
Rule 6
Anime gifs are preferred, but not required. You can use Human gifs if you want.
Rule 7
This Role Play will tend to be more action and survival. Though there will be quiet moments that can be used for romance if people want it to be. Though that will be up to people to decide.
Rule 8
Swearing in this one I don't really mind. Flick and Hell as a place. Though any real swear words, star it out, substitute, or don't use it. As there are children on this site.
Rule 9
This will be a Semi-Literate Role Play. Meaning "He sat" or "She walked" is not acceptable here. This one will have a four line minimum, wither writers block or not. So remember grammar, spelling, and legibility. Also a note to the wise, please write your posts in Third Person view. So no "I walked over here and did this." please.
Rule 10
Even thought this is based off of Devil Survivor 2 the animation. Though this doesn't really hit close to it's plot line. Because it will be a new enemy that the one in the series. Though the setting is the same. So you do not have to be familiar with Devil Survivor 2 to join.
Rule 11
For Activity, please post at least once a week. And tell me if you'll be gone longer than that. And for reservations, you'll have a week and a half to get the forms up. If you don't, and do not tell me you need more time. Your spots will open back up. As there are other people out there.

Erinyes - Celestial Devil
Originated from the goddesses of vengeance. Indicates Tisiphone, Alecto, and Megaera, the three goddesses of punishment. Their punishment continues in the afterlife as well.
These three, even though Megaera seemed to be the more talkative of the three, then to get into fights with Ellaiana whenever they are summoned. The topic of argument tends to vary though in the heat of battle or just the calm before the storm. They will always find something to pick at Ellaiana with.
"Some devils are harmless. We don't have to kill them all. We should save as many of them as we can. That's our duty."
Kirin - Celestial Devil
Originated from the ancestor of hairy animals. She is the queen of all long-haired animals, and it is rumored that a saint would appear in the world if a Kirin showed up. She's usually very calm, but quite brutal when angry.
Kirin tends to be the more quiet of Ellaiana's devil team. Hardly speaking when she is summoned by her summoner. Though she does happen to be somewhat of a pacifist as well. Which is the common reason that causes Ellaiana to scold her. She isn't summoned a lot.
"You've been at that calculus stuff for days! Come on, take a day off and play with me."
Nymph - Celestial Devil
Originated from the fairy of nature. She's very pretty, and most of them are friendly to humans. Not sure if they would be much help in fighting devils, though.
Nymph is the most carefree of Ellaiana's team. Mostly trying to get Ellaiana to play with her instead of work and hunt down the alien invaders or rouge devils. She likes playing more than fighting as well. Making her one of Ellaiana's least summoned devils.
"Aim with your heart. Let me show you."
Elf - Celestial Devil
Originated from the fairy of forest. She is from a beautiful tribe that protects and takes care of forests. She is also a very skilled archer. Ones that feed themselves only with morning dew are said to be elves.
Elf can be described as Ellaiana's most summoned and most serious devil. Mainly because she doesn't back down, she does what she is ordered to do, and usually addresses Ellaiana as either "Summoner" or "Master". Hence making her Ellaiana's most summoned.
"I've heard about a contest for the best singer. Let's give it a try, Master!"
Siren - Celestial Devil
Originated from the fairy of the sea. She lures sailor with her beautiful voice. She also likes to go to karaoke.
Siren, much like Nymph, likes to play more than fight. And if there is karaoke somewhere around, don't expect her to be with Ellaiana. She is one devil that can in fact summon herself and run a muck if she feels like it. Another one of Ellaiana's least summoned devils.
"Haha, a big catch as always! I hope people don't take it for granted just because it's easy to get a tasty fish!"
Ebisu - Celestial Devil
Originated from the god of fishermen. she used to carry a fishing rod and a snapper with her, but later came to be the goddess of agriculture and commerce as well. she's very skilled at fishing.
Ebisu, can be quite serious at times though lax at others. Making her very spastic in battle, as she'll swap from serious to lax even on the battle field. Much to Ellaiana's hatred. Making that the main reason that she doesn't summoner her. Though like Siren she can also summon herself on her own. Making life difficult for Ellaiana.

Chaos - Underworld Devil
Originated from the starting point of the entire universe. Greeks believed that everything was created out of Chaos. Most people think that chaos means tumultuous state, but originally it meant 'opening mouth' or 'dark and empty void'. After Chaos, Gaia was born and so came everything else. To me, I just see a young child. She was the beginning of all!?
Chaos, in one word, is weird. Not because of the fact that she is interested in Creation more than Destruction. Not because she likes life more than death. Mostly because a mix of those two. Along with how she treats Kirijiri. Often summoning herself and clinging to Kirijiri, and often calling her "Mistress". She mainly does that because Kirijiri was the only summoner to bring her forward out of her cold and looney domain. And she doesn't want to let that go.
"I exist without existing. I'll always be around you, and watching you wherever you are."
Yog-Sothoth the One - Otherworldly Devil
Originated from the leader of the Outer Gods. Yog-Sothoth is the All-in-One and One-in-All entity. Not merely a thing of one space-time continuum, but allied to the ultimate animating essence of the existence's whole unbounded sweep, which has no confines and which outreaches fancy and mathematics alike. Yog-Sothoth knows all and sees all. It ultimately exists without existence. It is said that everything that includes the entire universe.
Sothoth, despite being a devil, tends to be protective of Kirijiri. Sometimes even acting behind the scene to keep Chaos from clinging to her all the time. He, like Chaos, can summon himself. Though both of them are more powerful when Kirijiri summons them instead. Though he, as knightly as he seems to be, wants to protect his "Mistress" and those she calls her friends.
"You can always change the future I foretell for you."
Skuld - Otherworldly Devil
Originated from the goddess of the future. She hangs out with Urd and Belldandy. She knows what will happen in the future. You can change the future you hear from this devil, so if you do not listen to her prophecies on future events, you might end up at an unexpected place.
Skuld, unlike Chaos and Suthoth she doesn't even come forward on her own. She tends to be the most quiet as well. Only talking when she's whispering a prophecy on future events in Kirijiri's ear. Though once the battle is over, she's leave as soon as she possibly can. (She will evolve into Skuld the Prophet later on)

Hastur - Otherworldly Devil
Originated from one of the Great Old Ones. As a half-sibling of Cthulhu, she resides in the universe so she's also called the master of the universe. So that means... she's an alien?
Hastur is also another devil that will never summoner herself. Often toying around with Kirijiri just for fun, and she just loves messing around with her summoner. She toys around, plays around, though in the heat of battle will she get serious. Though once the battle is over, she will go right back to her toying. Just to try and annoy Kirijiri.
"Goody-goody! It's got its own taste. Different from the TRG-42. Hey, bro. Can I get this one too?"
Barbatos - Underworld Devil
Originated from the 72 devils of the Lemegeton. She was an angel before falling and becoming the duchess of hell. Once she used to be a hunter; it is no wonder that she fell in love with modern firearms.
Barbatos, even though she is a killer on the battlefield, she tends to have a one track mind. Not about devouring her summoner, more about firearms. Any type of firearms. She even has an extensive knowledge on firearms as well. Though she can be kind, due to being an angel before her fall. Though she can be brutally honest and brutal to her foes.
"Did you bring Ma'at's feather? I wonder how many will end up as Ammit's meal today."
Anubis - Underworld Devil
Originated from the god of death. She judges humans that come to the afterlife. After comparing the weight of the feather of truth with the weight of the dead man's heart, she throws the heart to feed Ammit if the heart is heavier than the feather. She has to be highly motivated to fight against devils
Anubis, is different from the others on Kirijiri's devil team. Mostly tending to the underworld, on her off time when she isn't summoned forth. Though for some reason, maybe because of the devils and the alien threats are not letting her do her job as bringer of souls to the gates of the Underworld and weighting their souls. She doesn't really mind the summoner that brings her forward though as long as she's fighting other devils or aliens she doesn't mind.

Hercules - Underworldly Devil
Originated from the strongest hero in Greek mythology. Hercules was born of Alcmene and Zeus. He inherited Zeus's mighty power and spirit, and was much favored by his father. On the otherhand, he was hated and bullied by Hera, the main wife of Zeus. One of the famous episodes of Hercules is the twelve labors...
Hercules, tends to be the most strict of Arisato's devils. Often warning Arisato if he is getting too lax or if he is being to focused. He will often summon himself and usually correct Arisato, though only after he has been summoned for the first time. Though if anyone either jokes or questions about his stature he will simply reply that was his height he was when he stopped aging. He is super serious and very noble.
"Yeah? Master...?"
Garmr the Gatekeeper - Underworld Devil
Originated from the dog that guards Niflheim in Norse mythology. Its role is similar to the role of Cerberus in Greek mythology. Unlike Cerberus, it looks similar to ordinary dogs, but its chest is stained with fresh blood. The Queen of Underworld, Hel, did not participate in the war of Ragnarok, but Garmr did and "died" in the fight with Tyr the God of War.
Garmr, even though she does look like a cute little puppy, she can be plenty deadly. Often taking a bite at other summoners if they threaten or make fun of Arisato. Which in a since she can summon herself after Arisato summons her once. She is very loyal to Arisato and if she can't beat someone she usual stick out by Arisato's side anyways. Being brave and stubborn, sometimes to Arisato's slight annoyance.
"Master...I worry that your love for that might hurt your fresh...um, precious liver."
Gumiho - Otherworldly Devil
Originated from the monster fox. Having nine tails means this is one of the toughest of the monster foxes. She eats human livers, or absorbs life from human to turn into a human with her fox marble.
Gumiho, can easily be identified as one of the devils that would want to eat people more than help them. Mostly threatening Arisato, after she's been summoned once, that if he gets on her bad side she will be devouring him. If that is a threat or actually the truth, is unknown. Though she has a deep hatred of Garmr, along with a hatred for Hercules as well.

Belldandy - Celestial Devil
Originated from the goddess of the present. She hangs out with Urd and Skuld. She looks into the present. She's known to be nearly omnipotent, but in fact she may not be. Especially when it comes to dealing with other devils.
Belldandy, unlike other devils. Tends to care about her "Master". Or Arisato in other words. Often calling Hercules to rough and Garmr to playful, when they are out and about. She isn't really omnipotent, as the present is ever changing. She can catch a thread of truth ever now and then. Though now when she wants to. She can summon herself, only after Arisato summons her once. (She will evolve to Belldandy the Aide later on)

Circe - Underworld Devil
Originated from the daughter of the god of the sun She can turn humans into animals with her magic. She is a little absurd at times, but her magical abilities come in very handy against other devils.
Circe has kind of a two sided personality. One being her cute and bubbly side, that loves sunshine, rainbows, and unicorns. The other being her dark and sadistic side, often telling Arisato that she will devour his soul one day. Wither joking or not, it is hard to tell with her dark side. While her bubbly side often says that she won't devour him. Which makes things very confusing with her, mostly in Arisato's mind.
"When the dark moon rises, I will hold my torch and have my hounds on the way to the summit of hell. There will be no place you can hide. You will die alone."
Hecate - Otherworldly Devil
Originated from the goddesses of the moon, the Earth, and the underground. The three goddesses became one. When summoned, she appears with a horde of hellhounds at the crossroads. Even during the contract period, she sometimes disappears at night. No one seems to know where she goes.
Hecate, as she looks, has a habit of throwing tantrums. Mostly getting enraged when someone comments on her small stature for a "Queen of the Hellhounds". And if it goes on for long enough she will burst into tears, run to Arisato, cling to his leg, and beg for him to make to apologize. Much to Arisato major annoyance. Though on other days she often claims that she will eats the souls of every Nieaca summoner and become the most powerful devil in existence. Though one quick glare from Hercules she shuts up and doesn't speak on that topic for a while.

Parsifal - Underworld Devil
Originated from the knight of the Holy Grail. She was regarded as a naive fool, and often abused by others. Later she turned out to become the guardian of the Holy Grail. She does not look like a fool anymore.
Parsifal, even though she's one of Shini's devils under the "protect the user" Devil Summoner App, she still jokes about devouring him. Even though it is odious that she can not. She also has a said blind faith in her Holy Grail. Mostly that if nothing else will work then her Holy Grail will work. She has a blind faith, almost on the stakes of overboard faith, in her Holy Grail and its abilities.
"Pet me! Feed me! Walk me!"
Inugami - Otherworldly Devil
Originated from the ghost dog. They are usually created by humans and are often used like Shikigami for yin-yang masters. Their dog-like habits sometimes annoy summoners.
Inugami, and her dog like natures. Often get her and Shini into trouble, a lot. Mainly because she will summon herself and ask Shini to either pet her, play with her, or do something with her. She also tends to have the shortest of attention spans and a case of short term memory. Making her very forgetful. Though because she is like a dog, she is "man's best friend".
"Wow, that's one lovely piece of clothing. Thank you, Contractor! By the way, what does it mean? A maid dress?"
Vesta - Celestial Devil
Originated from goddess of the hearth. Worshipped as the guardian of families and nations, she is also the symbol of virginity. She regards donkey as sacred, so people do not have their donkeys work when celebrating her.
Vesta like well Vesta. She likes doing housework and cleaning more than fighting other devils or the aliens. She in joyful and overly hyper, making her somewhat impatient. Meaning if she has nothing to do after cleaning the entire JPA building, she will out of boredom and impatience, she will clean it again.
"My children will rise from the deep sea, starting at Innsmouth...One by one...Humans will soon take after my own children."
Dagon - Otherworldly Devil
Originated from the god of the seas. her torso takes the form of a woman, while her legs have the look of a giant fish or amphibian. She is regarded as a godmother and guardian by the Deep Ones. She is useful because she has the highly valuable skills of the sea.
Dagon, tends to be more cold and aloof from Shini's other devils. Doing her own thing when she wants to, and going off on her own when she wants to. Though he only tends to keep her on his team is because of her sea skills and abilities. As she is the only devil of his that can go underwater. Though that doesn't keep her from doing her own things.
"I've been sick for a long time, but not anymore. Oh, that's my teddy bear calling me. I have to get out of the window. It's so fresh out there..."
Larvae - Underworld Devil
Originated from a departed soul. Her sins made her wonder and haunt the world, and she attacks humans to absorb their essence. Those who lose their essence to her are left with savage bruises on their bodies.
Larvae, despite her size and ranking, she can pack quite a punch. Making her the most violent devil on Shini's team. She doesn't mind battle, she in fact enjoys it almost too much. He doesn't summon her much because she even attack her allies.
"Another search in the darkness? Not today, please, we have a coven at the club near the station."
Witch - Underworld Devil
Originated from women who practice black magic. They are very skilled magicians with flying brooms. They never miss a coven, but they always get angry after one. Not sure why, though
Witch, tends to be the most lazy of Shini's devils. Usually skipping on "work" and going off to coven meetings instead. Mostly because she finds them better and more entertaining than "work". Even though she will come when Shini calls or summons her. Though if its in the middle of a coven meeting, then she will give him a piece of her mind after the battle.
