New Orleans hides a devilish secret inside the French Quarter. Hidden in plain sight are the supernatural factions that roam the very streets. Among the modern man and woman, are the creatures of the night. Vampires, Werewolves and Witches. All of which just happen to fight for control. Each faction wants their to be the dominate one. After the vampires were knocked off the throne, its anyone's game. This is where you come in. Where do you stand among all of this. Are you willing to fight for your people, to finally gain control? Where are you willing to stand in this upcoming war?

i. this is a relaxed semi lit role play. 1 paragraph of five to six line would be the maximum on WO.
ii. the basic ones, no god modding, mary/gary sues, killing others without permission, perfect characters, blah, blah, blah. we should all be able to follow these easily enough.
iii. there are unlimited spots but i have put five up on each page. i do understand that there are some which are more gender specific, and do not mind if there are more females than males categories such as the witches. But I do want diversity, in gender and characters.
iv. the maximum characters for each person would be 2 characters, one male and one female, both from different factions. but i know there are some who are truly capable of playing more than that, so if you absolute want to have 3 or 4, one from each faction. i will accept that. (coming back to this, i realise that i broke my own rule and ended up doing 3 characters. but the rule still stands, i expected most would go 2 just so then its easier or just 1 character. but yeah)
v. please reserve through pm and wait for me to accept before putting a wip on the actual topic.
vi. real life face-claims for characters please
vii. all original characters please. most likely we won't interact with main characters with klaus, elijah, etc. but smaller characters from the show like davina, jackson, josh and cami will be allowed. possibly later i might let someone play one of the mains
viii. please have fun in this. hopefully it won't take long for everyone to fill in forms and etc.

► vampires are magically reanimated corpses, inhabited by the spirit of the deceased, that feed and survive on the blood of the living, especially on human blood, and can transform humans into more of their kind.
►they're extant, meaning there are an unlimited amount of them.
► normal vampire abilities include super strength, super speed, compulsion, immortality, etc.
► weakness include decapitation, fire and sunlight( unless equipped with a daylight ring), vervain, werewolf bites, broken necks, etc.
► in new orleans, the vampires were the dominate species with their "king" marcel. they would hunt down witches who practiced magic and kill them. soon after the originals returned and marcel was over thrown, the vampires have been in power along with the witches, but all of that will soon change once the war begins.

► werewolves are a near-extinct supernatural species of individuals who unwillingly transform into fearsome and extremely hostile wolves on the night of the full moon. even in their human form, werewolves possess superhuman physical prowess, but not to the same level as a vampire and not as powerful as the abilities they have on a full moon. these creatures are the most dangerous enemies of vampires, due to their bite, which is lethal to them. werewolves are also hardwired to kill vampires on sight in their wolf form, though they still hunt human prey whenever there are no vampires to kill.

► normal werewolf weakness include broken necks, wolfsbane, blood lose, etc.

► a witch is a person, male or female, with the power to affect change by supernatural means.
► the witches of new orleans use ancestral magic, this form of sorcery draws energy from the dead ancestors of a witch in a certain location and can be used however the spirits see fit. however, this power can only be harnessed from the location of where the witches died, meaning that should the witch abandon the area, they will be rendered powerless.
► normal witch abilities include channeling, divination, elemental control, spell casting, withes brew, telekinesis, etc.
► normal witch weakness include disbelief, fear, mortality and overuse of magic.
► in new orleans, witches were powerless for quite some time. with the harvest not completed and marcel killing those who practiced magic, it was only when the last witch was killed for the harvest and the power returned properly did they begin to rise up and began their take over.

► as the human race repletes the majority of the earth’s population, they are commonly noted for their desire to influence and understand the environment by seeking to explain and manipulate phenomena through mythology, philosophy, religion, and science.
► unless one is a hunter, they do not have many weapons other than ones used in self defense.
► in new orleans, only a selected number of human know about the factions in new orleans. the human faction was lead by father kieran before he soon died by a hex from a witch. it is assumed that his granddaughter cammille o'connell will take over after francesca was revealed to be a werewolf

studying media when suddenly she gets a call that a great grandmother
had passed away and must come to new orleans straight away.
only, once she arrives, she feels...different. her great gran was hiding
one hell of a secret. once her bones were consecrated, was isabella able
to finally discover the fact she was a witch. unlike other witches who use
all of their ancestors to channel their power, isabella is able to channel
directly from her grandmother from the afterlife. as she begins to live in
the french quater does she discover the dangers she now has to face in
order to survive, the blood thirsty vampires, the power hungry werewolves,
and the wickedly dangerous new orleans witches. where does she stand?

as hard it is to imagine, zac was not always a ruthless and
cold-hearted mercenary. a very long time ago, zac was a simple farm
boy working the fields in russia. it was not a luxurious life, but at least
he had his mother and sister. that was all to change when one day,
he comes to see his family murdered after a robbery gone wrong.
the robbers were still inside when zac arrived and knocked him
out, before taking all of their valuables. when zac next woke up,
he found himself in a gypsy tent being tend to by three old ladies.
after being relieved of his injures, zac soon remembered the fate
of his mother and sister. rushing back to his home, he met an awful
site. his home was burned down, the bodies of his family now ashes
lying inside the ruins. in a stupid and dumb decision, zac committed
suicide, so he could be with his family. only, that was no the case. the
mysterious gypsy women happened to be vampires who fed the boy
some of their blood, the only thing to activate the curse was for the person
fed the blood to kill themselves. all that was left of the kind-hearted and
family orientated boy was gone. in less than ten minutes after his
transformation did zac slaughter the gypsies in the camp. with nothing
else to live for, zac became a mercenary for hire, quickly learning english
as he traveled the world to complete tasks for those who wanted any
enemies to be eliminated. now, many years after his transformation, zac
has arrived in new orleans for a "vacation". but who knows what this
cruel murder has in stores here.

rise of gang violence in the city, only to come across the battle
of new orleans. quickly siding with the werewolves, oscar still does
his best to protect the human faction from discovering the other
supernaturals/
