Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry was founded in 990 A.D. by wizards Godric Gryffindor, Salazar Slytherin, and witches, Rowena Ravenclaw and Helga Hufflepuff. It is located in the Highlands of Scotland and accepts students from Scotland, England, Ireland, Northern Ireland and Wales.
The Four Houses of Hogwarts
"You might belong in Gryffindor,
Where dwell the brave at heart,
Their daring, nerve, and chivalry
Set Gryffindors apart"
The Gryffindor house emphasizes the traits of courage as well as "daring, nerve, and chivalry," and thus its members are generally regarded as brave, though sometimes to the point of recklessness. They can also be short-tempered. It's House Mascot is a Lion.

Ravenclaw House prizes learning, wisdom, wit, and intellect in its members. Thus, many Ravenclaws tend to be academically motivated and talented students. Ravenclaws also pride themselves in being original in their ideas, and methods. It's House Mascot is an Eagle.

Where they are just and loyal,
Those patient Hufflepuffs are true,
And unafraid of toil"
Students belonging to this house are known to be hard-working, friendly, loyal, honest and rather impartial. It may be that due to their values, Hufflepuffs are not as competitive as the other houses, or are more modest about their accomplishments. Hufflepuff is the most inclusive among the four houses; valuing hard work, dedication, patience, loyalty, and fair play rather than a particular aptitude in its membersments. Its House Mascot is the Badger.

Those cunning folk use any means,
To achieve their ends."
Slytherins tend to be ambitious, shrewd, cunning, strong leaders, and achievement-oriented. They also have highly developed senses of self-preservation. This means that Slytherins tend to hesitate before acting, so as to weigh all possible outcomes before deciding exactly what should be done. Its House Mascot is a Serpent.

Wendy grew up in the small town of Canterbury, South East, England. Her father, Malcolm Gray, was a Half-Blood Wizard while her mother, Sandra "Sandy" McMillan, was a Muggle. They lived a small, quiet life in their less than stellar home, for her father had severe asthma and breathing problems that prevented him from working for long periods of time, making the responsibilities of paying the bills and whatnot to land on her mother. However, that didn't stop them from having a rather fun and interesting life.
While her mother was at work, and before Wendy could start school, her father would tell her all about the Wizarding World and show her the fun spells he learned at the magnificent school called Hogwarts. Wendy could not wait to get her letter when she finally turned 11.
Then, before the young witch's 11th birthday, Wendy's father had gotten caught up in a fire at a local post office. He had tried to help others, with his death being the result. Wendy's letter came the following week, but she was not as excited as she thought she would be. Her mother was worried. Would she have to take her to Diagon Alley? How could she do it all by herself? Yet she did, when she finally took the slightly more excited witch. Her father had left her some money she could use for the shops, so she was successfully able to get some new robes, a wand, her books for First Year, and a small cat.
Wendy will never forget the first time she walked into Hogwarts. The mighty castle looked strong, firm, yet very welcoming. She was home. Then she was sorted in Ravenclaw, the House that values knowledge above all else. Her father had been a Hufflepuff himself, yet he talked good things of the Ravenclaw House.
Meeting new friends was a little challenging for Wendy. She, with hardly any knowledge of the Wizarding World other than what her father told her about, didn't exactly catch on to the many conversations other wizards and witches around her talked about. Thinking all hope was lost, that she'd remain an outsider, oblivious to the world around her, she met Lily Evans, a first year Muggle-Born. She was accompanied by a greasy haired kid, who she would find out to be named Severus. With Lily's bright enthusiastic nature, Wendy was able to meet James Potter and his friends, and even the man she would marry in the distant future, Sirius Black.
Years passed, and soon Wendy had graduated with her friends. She was engaged to Sirius, who had proposed on the last day of school. They had a small wedding on September 1st, kind of a new "train ride" for the next step in her and Sirius' life, since his family did not come to the wedding with her being a Half-Blood after all. They'd have love to invite Dumbledore, but he was busy with being Headmaster after all, and Hagrid with his Gatekeeper duties.
9 months later, on June 13th, 1976, Wendy had gave birth to her daughter, Julianna "Jules" Janessa Black. She was their pride and joy. Their adorable Half-Blood, green eyed daughter. The three settled in a nice cottage house that James, Remus, Sirius, and Peter all built for them out in the countryside.
Then, the dark days came. The first Wizarding War against Lord Voldemort erupted throughout all of the United Kingdom and Ireland, anywhere that Lord Voldemort could reach to with his evil and villainous ways. Naturally, Wendy wanted to help fight, but someone had to stay home with her 4 year old baby girl. So, Sirius went to help James and Lily and the others of the Order of the Phoenix.
Even amongst all of the darkness, light was still creeping from the dark world that began to engulf all of them. Janessa and Remus had two kids now, Jared and Eve, of whom was born not too long before James and Lily's son, Harry, who Wendy became the Godmother of. And, it wasn't too long until Wendy had gotten pregnant and had another girl, named Paige Lilian Black. She was only 2 months old when that fateful Halloween came and James and Lily were killed by Voldemort. Even though Voldemort had somehow been defeated, they still wanted to find someone alive to blame, so they blamed Sirius, who was supposed to be the Secret Keeper over the Fidelus Charm placed over James and Lily's house in Godrics Hallow, but at the last minute, made it Wormtail instead. They even had the gull to blame Sirius for killing a whole lot of Muggles, including Peter, but Wendy knew better.
The Aurors of the Ministry finally found him after he had ran and made Wendy and his two daughters hide at Wendy's mother's place. Not wanting the Ministry to interrogate his wife and, knowing her, would get her arrested for not cooperating, finally turned himself in.
The years after that were rough. All of Wendy and Sirius' friends blamed Sirius for James and Lily's, and Peter's, deaths. She had been shunned from the Wizarding World. Now she was a single mother, loathing the idea of her husband being in Azkaban, being tortured daily by Dementors. She only had her mother, who had finally divorced her horrible muggle step-father, and Janessa and Albus Dumbledore. How could she even show her face to the world, knowing they would only treat her cruelly for the wrongful blame of her husband for a crime he did not commit.
However, even though Wendy doubted it, Jules still got her Hogwarts Letter, even from Dumbledore himself. He and Maxton both came over to her house, telling her the plan if she wanted Jules to go to Hogwarts. She'd have to go under an alias, named Jules Leery, and be like that until she graduated, and possibly even if she wanted a career in the Wizarding World. It was a lot for an 11 year old, but Jules agreed. She wouldn't mind, if she got the chance to go to Hogwarts and make friends and learn magic.
So, Jules did, and she made a lot of friends during the years until the present now...

The daughter of Xenophilius and Pandora Lovegood, Scarlette didn't understand that she was special. Once Luna was born, she had a close relationship with her after she has experience her mother's dead when she backfired her own spell in front of Luna. After witnessing death, just like her sister she had the ability to see thestrals.
The young witch began to realize that she was a wizard at age 11. Making her father right away enroll her to Hogwarts. She wasn't used to leaving home especially she has been taking care of Luna almost her whole life ever since her mother's death.
Years later, Scarlette began to attend Hogwarts and got sorted into Ravenclaw. She's a couple years ahead from her little sister but, she will manage to see her eventually. Once her sister got enrolled to Hogwarts, things has change between them. Despite Luna was the one getting teased, no one messed around with Scarlette even though both of them were related.
Scarlette has been by her sister's side, but even though she wanted to stand up for her she was just afraid to do what older sisters do best.

Being under the pure blood family name was not something Katherine would expect as she arrived at Hogwarts. Katherine has been studying magic all her life, and whenever someone hears the name "Lamore" they would be talking about Katherine being one of the smartest wizards in Hogwarts.
Katherine knew she would be a wizard the minute she was born by her parents. She also knew that her parents would be expecting a lot from her since her last name is famous around Hogwarts along with other pure bloods. Even though she gets the respect over people she's not the type of person to embrace that type of fame compare to other pure bloods themselves.
Even though pure bloods are known as feisty wizards who ends up getting on people's toes for being a mudblood it wasn't her thing to do something like that. She may have got assigned to Slytherin, but she wants to prove a point that it doesn't matter if she's one... she's the same like everyone but not the same as a regular Slytherin.
