I don't care if It's July
Christmas needs saving

THE GENERAL IDEA

Legend says that every year, as part of the Christmas festivities, Santa sends out a special shooting star to fall randomly into one lucky child's hands. It is said that that child is given the gift of ultimate happiness from the man in red himself. It is also said that the shooting star has a certain creative potential, such as amplifying the emotions and creativity of the holder to create just as Santa does.

Then one Christmas Eve, a wide selection of different characters from many different worlds and universes suddenly wake up in a snowy wilderness. Somehow they have been transported inside a huge dome called 'The Snowglobe'. Here they find themselves in the middle of a clan conflict between three sparring factions: the Candy Crew, Jack Frost and his chilling ice army and the sinister forces of the evil fairy Moonlight. Stuck in between all this is a bedraggled group of reindeer and elves who claim that Santa, the only person who might know what on earth has happened to them all, has gone missing along with his sleigh, magic dust, trinket staff and naughty 'n' nice book. They also speak of mysterious 'Emotion Shards': powerful crystals said to be very manipulative that have supposedly fallen into enemy hands.

In a bizarre yet surprisingly scary situation, humans and many other species must join forces to get to the bottom of their predicament and free themselves. Can they fight off the forces of conflict, return home and save all of Christmas itself? Can they save Santa and find his magical items? Can they uncover the secrets of the Emotion Shards and discover what has brought them together? Forging new friendships along the way, this is one festive adventure they won't forget!

LOCATIONS

The Snowglobe is literally what it says on the tin: a giant Snowglobe (aherpaderp). Essentially it is a spherical area of land encapsulated in a thick, unbreakable wall of glass. Behind this glass the snow seems to drift off into blurry whiteness. It would take roughly a day of continuous walking to travel from one side of the globe to the other, so it is a fairly big landmass. The globe is split into four near triangular sections, almost in the shape of the Triforce, each of which are very different.

The central segment is a largely flat no-man's-land where the lost elves fearfully reside: they have called it Grotto Gorge. Peaking out through the snowy wilderness are occasional patches of hopeful frosted grass, and the odd frozen lake and hilly trough can make it quite a fun place to mess around in. In the northernmost part of the segment the hills start to become treacherous rocky mountains full of dangerous jagged cliffs and very hard to traverse. At the top of this is said to be a strangely high-tech temple. In the centre of the segment, in a pothole of friendly crunchy snow, the elves have built a large alpine grotto which is always warm with a soothing fire and full of places to sleep. This peaceful house is somewhat of a base to every neutral party. However, the peace of the surrounding areas is often interrupted by clashes between the clans. The elves are never full-on attacked but some of the nastier forces do like to 'play around' with them somewhat.

The southern segment is home to the Candy Crew and is titled the Candy Courtyard. The very flat and largely bare snow-lands soon reach a long stone plateau that leads to Tasty Towers, the Candy Crew's base. They are perhaps the least threatening of the three forces as they are quite a laughable bunch. A ragtag bunch of different edible monsters, from giant gingerbread men and gummy bears to licorice men and strawberry lace snakes, their army is only powerful due to the sheer quantity of their forces. Tasty Towers is a huge stone castle that houses a Victorian style secret factory, said to be where they batch produce their army. Failures of this procedure are dumped in the surrounding landscape: there are giant candy canes and other sweets simply poking out of the snow. Quite easy enemies to fight, their leader, Pudgar, a giant Christmas pudding, is laughable and comical yet his rash and blind intentions coupled with his numerous soldiers make him quite a threat.

The north-western segment is the domain of Jack Frost, the Valley of Chill. This is a largely downhill valley full of steep slopes, sudden drops, ice caves and creepy crevices. A slightly tense area with no obvious base, the treacherous terrain makes it easy for Jack's mobile army to defend themselves. Jack Frost himself is an extremely powerful master of liquids and cold temperature. His smaller army is fully controlled entirely by him: pools of sky blue water that he maneuvers around and then freezes into shapes to fight. They make for strong warriors but the power needed to control them means that he has to pump all concentration into that.

The final area in the north-east is the Mystic Glen. This is a dense forest of snow-capped trees spread amongst a hilly terrain. This forest is the home to the evil fairies, a group of flying magical beings that use supreme tactics and intelligence to surprise their opponents despite their weak physical forms. They live in a giant tree where their leader Moonlight performs his crazy experiments. A malevolent and manipulative leader, he will do anything to reach his goals and is a serious threat.

RUURS

1. Usual RPing rules apply: no godmodding, bunnying and such. Simply put, general Roleplaying curtosey.
2. You are allowed up to three characters. These characters can be from anything: TV shows, video games, films, books, other RPs, ECT. Avoid OC's and self-inserts.
3. Mild swearing is allowed.
4. Mild gore is allowed, but nothing to grim and excessive since this is supposed to be festive and fun.
5. Love and romance are allowed, and encouraged given the festivities.
6. Try to use common sense please, although I will allow some ridiculousness this time due to CHRISTMAS SPIRIT WOOHOOOO.
7. Don't make your characters too OP in combat (and personality wise too). Think about their weaknesses in battles and the strength of the enemies you're facing. Every character has some sort of personality flaw, too. (Unless the character is goku or smth but that's boring)
8. Be respectful and think of your fellow RPers. RPing is a group of people writing a story together, not just you. Also, a personal gripe of mine, really think about what things your characters would really hear, understand or pick up on.
9. This is a half linear/half freeform RP. You'll be free to go places and mess around with your own mini ideas but I will always be pressing on with the main plot from time to time.
10. Try to use proper punctuation and grammar, it's not too hard to do. Write in past tense. I'm not going to set a post length limit, but be descriptive where you can. It will be a casual Roleplay, but detail is encouraged.
11. Aim towards the objectives presented if stuck.
12.
And finally...
13. Have fun!

NPC ENEMIES

These are enemies that you are free to use in your own mini adventures. I will likely update to include bosses when we reach them (and there will most likely be ten bosses) and also introduce more threats in the main plot but these are able for you to use as well. I would ask that nobody has any evils attack the grotto though as it needs to be kept as the safe ground.

Name: The Candy Crew
Appearence: A ragtag mob of various different edibles. Imagine any vaguely lifelike sweet and it's here.
Fighting powers: Not very many. Very slow, they swing singly with fairly powerful limbs to attack yet they are so bumbling and slow that these attacks barely ever hit.
Weaknesses: Weak to physical attacks like blades mainly.
Fighting strength: Weak. They can be easily defeated in very few hits but there are so many of them in each group that using teamwork they can somewhat surprise.

Name: The Ice Army
Appearance: Mobile puddles of sky blue liquid that can morph and freeze into powerful ice figures of any shape and size.
Fighting powers: Depends on the figure. Some morph with long blade like limbs, some go for large powerful hands. Try are moderately fast but still not too quick. However, they have the intelligence that the Candy Crew don't.
Weaknesses: Explosions and Fire. Resistant to most other things. Physical attacks wear them down slowly but because they're made of ice they don't feel pain.
Fighting strength: Medium. They should provide decent 1-1 battles and maybe even 2-1 battles.

Name: Fairies
Appearance: Small winged figures with feminine appearances and compact purple armour. About half the size of the average human and fairly frail.
Fighting powers: They can cast a variety of different spells using their wands and also use magical resources to take down their opponents. However, they never engage in hand-to-hand combat.
Weaknesses: All physical attacks, however, because they are fast and can fly away they do well to avoid these.
Fighting strength: Strong-average. A good team effort can take a bunch of them down.

Please complete one of these in reasonable detail for every character you want to use.

The Snowglobe (A Fantastic Christmas-In-July Crossover Romp!) [Open for everyone] Empty Re: The Snowglobe (A Fantastic Christmas-In-July Crossover Romp!) [Open for everyone]

Alrighty, feel free to make your sheets. There's no white or blacklist; this RP is open for everybody!

User: Yukki/Watinula
Name: sans
World From: Undertale
Appearance: The Snowglobe (A Fantastic Christmas-In-July Crossover Romp!) [Open for everyone] Sans_by_liquorice_drop-d9e84dk
Personality Strengths: Sans the skeleton is a very level-headed character, never really letting his temper take over or showing extreme emotions. He usually floats along in life without much care, instead watching others do things outside his bubble. Though Sans is usually agreeable and relatable, he becomes eerily serious at particular moments, and this is because Sans has an eye out for everything. He is very observant; Sans can read expressions and can often tell when people have already done certain tasks. He also has a comedic side to him; he loves to pull harmless and silly pranks on people and tell bad jokes for either the amusement or displeasure of his audience.
Personality Weaknesses: Sans is very laid back, often sleeping on the job and taking breaks. He even takes breaks from his breaks by taking a break. His laziness is a combination of fatalism and apathy. He also really doesn't like to make promises, as he knows that he would have to put effort into keeping them.
Battle Strengths: Sans usually has no reason to fight, but if a certain deed is done, he will literally turn 180 degrees and deal out justice to those asking for a bad time. His attacks may hit poorly, but its numbers that matter for him. He can send out hundreds of bones in rapid mazes and parkour tracks that trip up and injure his foes. He can summon Gaster Blasters, magical skull cannons that are quite powerful in dealing karma retribution damage. He's also able to deal damage to the souls of creatures, not just physically. He is also smart enough to dodge enemy blows, whether by stepping to the side or exploiting his powers that deal with the space-time continuum. While he can't modify space or time, he can seemingly teleport and hop through space with relative ease. He tends to do this to confuse people for laughs, but in battle it's mainly to taunt his foes.
Battle Weaknesses: His attacks deal very minor damage, and his defense is one of the weakest out there. He can't dodge forever. He can expose himself too, but rarely lets himself become vulnerable. His attacks will only strike hard if his opponent has done bad or evil deeds, as they are dependent on karmic retribution. If by chance, his opponent isn't evil or bad in his book, he will be pretty weak.
Background: While he is the assumed older brother of Papyrus the skeleton, the brothers mysteriously appeared one day in the underground town of Snowdin and asserted themselves. He quickly became a well known figure, being a comedian at a Resort and the popular punchline preach at Grillby's. He also assumed a job as a sentry, and his job was to be on watch for humans. Though he admits he really isn't interested in capturing anybody.
Other: Sans, even though he is a skeleton, drinks ketchup and eats unhealthy food. He also has a hidden dislike of humans, for whatever reason.
