This thread is dedicated to the roleplayers of Winx that are at the semi-literate+ level. There has been a lack of semi-lit roleplays here on Winx, and so this thread is for roleplayers of this level to get together! Semi-lit roleplayers are able to post 350+ words (6 line paragraph) a post on average, but also have other qualities of a more experienced writer.
Note: To those of you who are not at a literate level, please do not be offended. Everyone has to start somewhere. c:

R U L E S
1. Be polite
2. No bashing of anyone
3. Stay on topic
4. No mini-modding
5. Don't quote your form, it only makes it harder to update.
6. If you have not been accepted, you are not a member, so do not post. Please wait until you have been accepted to start posting.
7. Please don't tamper with the form! I know we all love to make them pretty, but there is a reason they are set up the way they are.
9. Please do not use intro posts as your sample.
10. Please only post/advertise literate roleplays.
11. Do not contact any of the mod's to ask if you were accepted or declined. Take a look yourself.
12. Do not contact any of the mod's to ask if you were ignored or skipped over. We use the search engine. We don't miss anyone. However, you may ask why you were not accepted, I'm happy to tell you.
13. Once you have broken too many rules, we reserve the right to decline you.
14. Listen to the mods!
15. If your sample is from an outside source, you must provide a link to the exact thread that your sample is coming from. [unless email]
16. Even if you are a member/judge on the thread on other sites, you must remake your form or copy it here.
17. The discussion of literate vs. semi-literate WILL NOT be brought up many times, especially not around judging time.

For your reference, the general things I will be looking for in forms are as follows...
ＱＵＡＬＩＴＹ ＯＶＥＲ ＱＵＡＮＴＩＴＹ
Don't pick your longest post ever if it is not a good example of your current work. When I say this, I want you to give me a good example! Too many applications on other sites have examples that the writer says "not my best. I usually write better," or something along these lines. I see this as lazy. Give me a good example please, and if I see anything written about your work is normally better I will not even look at your form.
ＧＲＡＭＭＡＲ & ＳＰＥＬＬＩＮＧ
It's a simple thing that should be second nature to all semi-lit+ writers. I don't want to see wrong tenses, incorrect punctuation, incorrect spelling, or any of that (I understand there may be a mistake every now and then; we are only human, after all).
ＳＥＮＴＥＮＣＥ ＳＴＲＵＣＴＵＲＥ
Your writing should flow. Sentences shouldn't be overly long, and they shouldn't be unbelievably short. I'll be looking at your writing style, and you general mechanics. The number one no-no is I don't want your writing to sound mechanical/forced. It shouldn't sound like a children's book (Susie did this... Then Susie did this... Susie saw Bob and said hi...).

Roleplay sample:*NOTE* This is for three different characters in one post.
Krisvryn Mythica Strifedragon
The woman Mage drifted along with the wind, with the help of her magic. Her green hair which shifted down to blue as down to the ends of the strands of her hair and each of those strands whipping around like leaves in the breeze. In her flight her right hand grasped tightly to a long elegant midnight blue staff that when down to a decorative end that spiraled out from the wood of the staff and held three gleaming white pearls, that reflected the slight glints of sunlight from the spotting sunlight from behind the clouds ever now and then.
One relatively sized monkey held on tightly to the girl's shoulders, as the black fur of the creature blew in the wind. The girl smiled as she flew along with the wind. "Hold on Leri!" The girl shouted as she slowly started to decend with the winds toward a city. "So this is the place..." She muttered herself as the winds took her on her path towards the ground and city streets of the technological empire. The girl gently drifted down on the wind until she was just barely an inch above the sidewalk and the base of her staff. Causing the wind to disapate and gently drop her on to the ground.
The Mage looked around with some awe in her eyes, her years of living in a cave with ancient scrolls, ancient magic, and ancient clothing showing in that moment. "I know I've seen this place and towns like it from a distant, but wow... This is soo... different and weird..." She muttered mainly to herself as Leri grunted in agreement. The girl walked a little bit briskly as her ancient designed clothing making her rather stick out of the crowd. She looked at the weird electrical invitation to this meeting, only by lucky, in managing to op.en the thing and read the message. The green irises scanned upwards at a nearby building standing in front of her. "So... This is the place..." She murmured to herself as she slowly walked towards the buildings doors, as the swung op.en before she could touch them, the shock showing in her eyes but the rest of her didn't flinch. Her green blue hair shifted behind her as she walked into the building where the meeting place was recorded to be according the the invitation. Once she had entered into the lobby did she spot a few empty chairs and some tables here and there. She smiled to herself as she gracefully walked over to one chair and slowly dropped herself into it. Her legs crossed the left over her right leg as she sat there waiting for these other people on this thing to come.
Leoroar Alereyes
The blond haired lad slowly strolled through the streets of the large technological hotspot. Yet, his gold-green eyes weren't on any of the hotspots or people on the sidewalks. His eyes were mainly focused on the ground underneath him. His hands raised for a second and grasped the black fabric hood that had fallen from his head as he pulled it up and over his hair putting back in place once again. While the scarf, the same color as the hood, was wrapped around his neck while its ends played in the wind behind him.
After the hood was raised cover most of his hair except for the front bangs, did his hand lower to his sides once more for only a matter of seconds. Then his left hand when to his pocket with his throwing daggers as he pulled out one of them and started fiddling with it in his hand. The Assassin walked for a while long before coming to a halt by a building, and that was the only moment he looked up from the ground. "So this is the place..." He murmured to himself as he started inside to a sitting area. His eyes went to the only person there, a girl in ancient looking clothing with a monkey on her shoulder. He looked away as fast as he had spotted her and when to a clear spot on a wall and started leaning against it, and he place his left foot on the wall for support as he waited for these other people to come.
Aluiries Oyxnbane
The dark oak haired girl sat silently as she rode in one of the mechanical automated cars. Her twin axes sitting beside her as they rod that somewhat smooth ride. Though her rosey red irises only stayed out side on the building that where quickly passing by. While her hair rolled down from her shoulder and past her legs to the flooring of the car before it stopped. The warrioress sighed to herself as her clothing at current didn't really describe her as a warrior, until white flowy dresses where going to be the new style. But she didn't really like a lady either but slightly more than she would in her armor.
Her gaze when forward more once the car started to roll to a stop and her red irises locked on a building. "So this is the spot..." She said slightly to herself as she grabbed her axes and pushed the door op.en with her foot. Once she had did she proceed to climb out of the car taxi as once she had it sped away right after. She shrugged as her axes were the only thing she had brought and her armor itself she had sent ahead to this scheduled hotel. She easily and proudly walked into the waiting room seeing a green haired girl and a hooded guy. She shrugged as she walked over to an op.en chair and took a seat waiting to see if any one else would show up to this.

I have made semi-lit/literate RPs before on the old Winx site. The only one to move over so far is The Curse of Solus Isles. I plan on making some more eventually.

Romona Meldek | Gypsy
The gypsy smirked before bowing to make her leave. Once she was out on the street, the first place she went was that of the Blacksmith. In there she saw two of the cursed, Lorrell Quimby and her adopted brother Braken Umbra. A egotistical alchemist and a gullible caster. "Excuse me, but I have come to ask of your service." She said, once again returning to her soft voice. Lorrell looked up from her metal work. "Huh? What does a nomadic dancer like you doing here?" She said, furrowing her eyebrows. Braken put down his tea. "I would have to ask the same." He asked. "The King and your village elders have sent me to notify you of something major. You and the other village's cursed are going to stop the freeze threat!" Romona exclaimed, trying to sound enthusiastic. The two siblings looked at each other and then back at her. "YOU CAN'T BE SERIOUS!?" The alchemist exclaimed. "Us, stopping Alana!" The Caster followed. Soon they were having a fanfare in the middle of the blacksmith's shop. Romona left them there and continued to find the others.
