Yu Gadamodo is an 18-year old young male. That's what he wants you to think, however. In truth, Yu is a she- born Lorrell Sparks. With his change in gender came a change of identity, for reasons unknown as of now. Regardless of that fact, he is a alchemist, for he was involved in the creation of a glove that allows him to use alchemy without circles. This glove is still in its alpha testing stage, and is very prone to failure. Until it's stable, Yu restricts the use of it for dire emergencies, and still uses circles for day-to-day events.

As far as personality is concerned, Yu is a bit of a bookworm, and prefers to be alone than even with a small group of people. Most of his skills in alchemy he either learned from his father or from reading, very little did he learn from experience on the field. When around others, he has a sharp tongue and a prickly attitude, but if you happen to be lucky, he can be helpful, but we never specified how helpful...

When he was younger, Yu, then by the name of Lawrence Sparks (He had been transgendered from a very young age) work with his father, a scientist, on an invention that would change alchemy forever. The two were very when they created the first prototype to the glove Yu now wields, but on it's first run, Yu created a formula so massive that it exploded the lab, killing his father and blowing off his own arm. Like any reasonable person, Yu got auto mail so he could continue his father's research. He did change his name completely shortly after, as well as a handful of other information, for reasons we aren't sure of today.
